My 100 days project was finally finished on July 14th. It needs framing but I'm very happy with how it turned out in the end. I wasn't quite sure if the colour grid would work but luckily it does. The process of figuring it out taught me a lot about colour that is already informing my next body of work.
I love that every single square has it's own story, sometimes inadvertently reminding me of someone or something I was doing while I stitched it.
I created an A3 print based on the designs, reversing my normal process of design then stitch, capturing it digitally after completion.
The colours took a fair amount of tweaking to get the balance right but they look really vibrant printed (photo doesn't do it justice). When you purchase a print I will stitch the day of your choice, or leave it as a surprise if you prefer. Link to purchase is here.
